PR CAREER BECKONS FOR SOPHIE
A fifteen year old student was tried and tested last week at Quicksilver PR.
Sophie Upton of Arden Senior School was a work experience student at the consultancy for five days.
The year 10 student was introduced to a number of tasks and activities over the week, such as briefing and brainstorming with the PR team, visiting trade shows at the NEC, attending client meetings and writing press releases.
“My week at Quicksilver PR very gave me a real insight into the fast paced world of media relations,” said Sophie.
“The experience has given me a helpful view of what to consider in the future when thinking about career choices.”
Quicksilver PR is one of the region's leading PR consultancies. Based in Knowle near Solihull, the company offers a full range of media, marketing and communication services to clients across the country.
